Full moon: 4 simple rituals that actually do you good

Since the beginning, the full moon has been the meeting point for taking stock: the light is at its brightest, and what was hidden can finally be seen. You do not need to believe in it literally to benefit from it: a ritual is first of all a moment you set aside for yourself. Here are four, from the simplest to the most committed.

1 · Write down what you release

One sheet of paper, two columns: what I keep, what I release. The full moon marks the peak of a cycle that began at the new moon: it is the moment to sort. Read your "I release" column back in a low voice, then tear it up. The gesture matters more than the belief.

2 · The walk under the moon

Twenty minutes outside, without your phone, looking up at the sky from time to time. That is all. Moonlight may not recharge your crystals, but a silent night walk recharges almost everything else.

3 · The full moon question

Write down the one question that has been circling in your head for weeks, the question of the closing cycle, and ask it out loud under the moon. Then listen to the first answer that rises: the full moon is the moment of maximum light, and what you already know but avoid saying tends to surface. If the invisible answers in its own language over the following days, through a mirror hour that keeps returning, take note of it.

4 · Moon water (the complete tradition)

The classic ritual: a container of water left outside or on the windowsill for the whole night of the full moon. In the morning, this "moon water" serves for ablutions, for watering your plants, or simply as a physical reminder of your intention for the month. Scientifically, it is water. Symbolically, it is your commitment made visible. That is exactly what rituals are for.
